The family of HP StorageWorks Enterprise Systems Library (ESL) E-Series Tape Libraries offers both best-in-class drive and cartridge densities. In a single cabinet the ESL E-Series contains from 322 to 712 LTO cartridges or 286 to 630 SDLT cartridges. In addition,, the ESL E-Series has the ability to scale to twenty four drives in a single library cabinet.

The ESL E-Series can be managed as a single library with up to five frames, 3546 Ultrium cartridges or 3138 SDLT cartridges and up to 44 tape drives using the ESL E-Series Cross Link Kit and Cross Link Expansion Kit.
